Saša Marić

Bio

I was born and raised in Banja Luka, where I completed my primary and secondary education before graduating in Computer Science and Informatics from the University of Banja Luka. I started working in IT as a student and have since built a career spanning software testing, full-stack development, software architecture, IT management, systems engineering, DevOps, consulting, and business intelligence. Over the years, I have worked on projects in both the public and private sectors, including initiatives related to information systems security and solutions for the banking and insurance industries. I have also led IT teams and supported the development and implementation of complex technology systems.

In September 2020, I joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the first Technical Account Manager in Austria and have been working in this role since. My main mission is to support AWS enterprise customers in designing, operating, and optimizing their cloud environments.

In addition to my customer-facing responsibilities, I contribute to recruitment, participate in AWS’s internal train-the-trainer activities, and lead an informal education program. I am also an authorized AWS speaker, with passion of sharing knowledge about cloud computing and encouraging young people to pursue careers in technology.
