Alberto Cappadonia

Alberto Cappadonia is a Senior Domain Consultant at Palo Alto Networks, where he focuses on securing AI and LLM-based systems. He works hands-on with LLM guardrails, model security, AI red teaming, agent protection and AI gateways, helping enterprises move generative AI and agentic applications into production safely. He regularly designs and runs technical proofs of value for AI security across cloud platforms. Before AI security, he spent over 15 years in network and cloud security at Fortinet and Palo Alto Networks, and as a security researcher at Politecnico di Torino (Italy). He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, with a thesis on formal models for security policy analysis.
